Deputy minister: Armenia's motion on Military Trophy Park dismissed

"In recent months, Armenia, through pro-Armenian deputies in the parliaments of some countries, has stated that the Military Trophy Park launched in Baku is a manifestation of ethnic hatred against the Armenian nation," said Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov at a press conference on the denial of Armenia's claim against Azerbaijan, Report informs.

"It has even made different biased statements at different levels. However, Azerbaijan has approached this issue from a purely legal perspective. It explained in detail the essence and purpose of the park in court. As a result, the court rejected Armenia's motion. The court noted Azerbaijan's obligations under the convention to prevent racial discrimination in general. At the same time, Armenia's attempt to pass its motion in court and gain political dividends has failed," he said.
