Within 10 years, the Turkic Council has proved that it is a successful platform that has played a major role in ensuring regional security and its stable development.
Report informs that Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Ramiz Hasanov made the due statement at a conference organized by the Center for Analysis of International Relations on the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Nakhchivan agreement.
"Azerbaijan attaches great importance to integration with the Turkic world. From this point of view, the activity of the Turkic Council is extremely important and very effective. We hope that its activities will further contribute to the achievement of joint goals”, - Deputy Foreign Minister said.
The Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council) is an international platform, which is established to promote dialogue and cooperation of the Turkic world.
The establishment of a new organization was announced on 3 October 2009 at the summit in Nakhchivan (Azerbaijan) with principles reflected in the Istanbul Declaration of 16 September 2010.
