Danny Boss Singoma: Baku Initiative - step towards uniting Africa against necolonialism

The Democratic Republic of Congo, a nation that has also suffered from colonialism in the past, now faces a new forms of domination by Western countries, Danny Boss Singoma, the president of the House of Secularism in Kinshasa, who arrived in Baku to participate in the international conference on the French Policy of Neocolonialism in Africa, told Report.

"We have returned to a kind of colonialism, but not only by individual countries, but by all Western states that seek to dominate us in order to exploit our natural resources," he said.

According to Singoma, this desire for domination extends to moral, intellectual, political, and economic spheres.

The DR Congo representative highly appreciated the Baku initiative, calling it "a good opportunity for African countries to unite, exchange experiences, and strengthen the coalition in the fight against decolonization."
He called for active mobilization of African youth and political leaders to develop new approaches in confronting neocolonialism.
