During the inter-ministerial consultations on the list of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, the CIS member states discussed the coordination of positions and the agenda in sustainable development, said Russian Foreign Ministry.
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, consultations were held in a video conference format. Heads of relevant departments of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the participating countries' embassies, and employees of the CIS Executive Committee attended the event.
"The main focus is on the coordination of positions in the General Assembly, mutual support of candidates in the elections to the UN bodies, the implementation of the plan in the field of sustainable development until 2030. The consultations took place in a constructive and exciting atmosphere and allowed to identify ways to deepen cooperation between the CIS member states on the UN platform," the Russian FM said.
