Charles Michel: It is important to prepare population for long-term sustainable peace

It is important to prepare the population for a long-term sustainable peace, President of the European Council Charles Michel said in a press statement after a tripartite meeting today with the President of Azerbaijan Aliyev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Report informs.

“The EU is ready to further step up its support towards a long-term sustainable peace. The EU will also continue to push for the advancement of economic development for the benefit of both countries and their populations,” Charles Michel said.
