The primary purpose of the visit of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (IPHRC OIC) is to witness human rights violations by Armenia in the liberated territories, Saeed Mohammed Abdullah Omair Alghfeli, chairman of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, told journalists, Report informs.
The chairman noted that the IPHRC will conduct a fact-finding mission in Azerbaijan's liberated territories starting tomorrow: "We know that mosques in those areas, which are places of worship for the local Muslim population, were destroyed by Armenians, and the ground was mined. We will get acquainted with those places. Later on, the commission will prepare a report as a result of the mission. Then it will be presented to the world community."
The commission chairman thanked the Azerbaijani government, Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva, and the Ombudsman's Office for organizing visits to the liberated territories.
