Cavusoglu: We talk to Jeyhun Bayramov on the phone every day

There are proposals from various countries. Yesterday, Azerbaijan said it would send one airplane, 40 firefighting vehicles, and 150 personnel. The plane landed in Dalaman with ten people on board. The firefighting vehicles are also moving via Georgia to Turkey," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said.

Report informs that, according to the minister, he discussed the forest fires in a phone call with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.

"We with my brother (Jeyhun Bayramov - ed.) speak on the phone every day. We also had a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg. NATO has several land missions to assist, but there are also strong fires in Europe or other ally states. No one used this mechanism except for Northern Macedonia. Our friends believe that we don't need NATO's land support. God forbid, if something bigger happens, we won't refrain because we are a NATO member," Cavusoglu said.
