Philip Lawrence, chairman of the Canada-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Parliament of this country, has shared his congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Canada and Azerbaijan on his pages in social networks, Report informs.
Lawrence noted the dynamic growth of relations between the two countries over the years.
"On this day 30 years ago, Canada established diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan. It is an honour to be the chair of the Canada-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group and to celebrate this growing relationship!" he tweeted.
According to the Canadian parliamentarian, the growth of relations is manifested in everything: in the increase in the number of Azerbaijani students in Canadian universities and in numerous cultural events held in Canada.
