No irregularities were recorded, and no discrimination was applied to political parties, Sos Mousine, a member of the National Assembly of Cambodia, told a press conference held on February 8 regarding the results of the early presidential elections, Report informs.

According to him, Cambodian MPs observed the extraordinary presidential elections held in Azerbaijan at the invitation of the Milli Majlis: "Our observers participated in all the processes from the opening of the polling stations to the end of voting. They communicated with the voters at the polling stations and participated in meetings with the supporters of the candidates. All necessary conditions have been created for voters in all polling stations, and all steps have been taken to ensure their safety. All kinds of conditions were created for the observers. The counting of votes was also carried out very efficiently. All observers and political parties were allowed to participate in the process."

Sos Mousine said that the presidential elections were transparent and free: "All parties had the right to equal participation in the election. We must emphasize that the democratic environment is at a high level. The Cambodian delegation congratulates the government and people of Azerbaijan for the democratic and transparent election."
