Professor of Naval Postgraduate School (US) and member of the American Political Science Association Brenda Shaffer has shared a publication about her trip to Azerbaijan’s Zangilan, Report informs.
“It was great to visit Zangilan, Azerbaijan. It is a really strategic city at the meeting point between Iran, Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the border with Türkiye is 40 kilometers away. Zangilan was under Armenia’s occupation for 27 years. Azerbaijani refugees are now returning to Zangilan and rebuilding their lives. The city has a state-of-the-art airport. Beautiful view of the mountains in neighboring Iran from the airport,” she wrote on X.
