Book dedicated to Azerbaijani immigrants presented in Paris

A presentation of a book dedicated to the life and activities of Azerbaijani immigrants in 1920-1940 was held in Paris with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in France, Report informs.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Rahman Mustafayev, French professors, historians, journalists, and others took part in the book's presentation.
Ambassador Rahman Mustafayev briefed the guests on the political activities of Azerbaijani immigrants in 1920-40, their history, and the struggle for independence of the South Caucasus in general.

The guests were given detailed information about the second author of the book Ramiz Abutalibov. It was stated that this Azerbaijani historian, public figure, and diplomat died in 2022. His contribution to the study of the life and work of Azerbaijani public figures who were sentenced to exile after the occupation of Azerbaijan in 1920 was noted.

The official part of the event was accompanied by a concert program.
