The French government should focus on its foreign policy rather than making accusations against the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group Abbas Abbasov said at a press conference held in response to unfounded claims indicated in the report published in December 2024 by the French General Secretariat for Defense and National Security – VIGINUM, Report informs.
He noted that French President Emmanuel Macron's government is responsible for the situation and should stop its neocolonial policy.
"President Ilham Aliyev is one of the leaders who has made a significant contribution to the decolonization process in the world. His determination in fighting against neocolonialism exposes the insidious intentions of those who pursue such policies. This is why they (VIGINUM) prepared such a report. If France truly supports international law, how can it simultaneously continue to pursue colonial policies?" he noted.
