In 2026, Azerbaijan and Slovenia will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and they intend to expand their bilateral dialogue by that time, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajon following their talks in Baku.
According to Report, Bayramov noted that both the one-on-one and extended-format meetings were highly productive. The sides discussed the development of cooperation in various fields, as well as key regional and global issues, including the situation in the South Caucasus and the Balkans.
"Next year we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations. We intend to expand cooperation and dialogue by that time. We also discussed holding political consultations and high-level visits. We frequently interact within international platforms and events to strengthen our bilateral ties," the minister said.
