Azerbaijani young people will also take part in the international youth diplomatic forum to be held in Ukraine in autumn this year, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Maryna Popatenko said during a meeting with Farid Shahbazli, chairman of the Reformist Youth Public Union of Azerbaijan in Kyiv, Eastern Europe bureau of Report informs.
The deputy minister said that Ukraine intends to invite young people from Azerbaijan to the forum, which will be held in September: “Ukraine, which is on the threshold of reforms, is interested in intensifying the exchange of experience with Azerbaijan in the field of improving the youth movement, just like in all areas.”
Popatenko said they closely follow Azerbaijan’s youth policy: “The youth movement and young personnel play a leading role in laying the basis of any wave of reforms. Taking into account this factor, we are interested in holding mutual events and forums with Azerbaijan.”
Shahbazli spoke about Azerbaijan’s achievements in the field of youth policy, especially the recent innovations. During the meeting, he discussed cooperation with Ukrainian youth organizations, holding joint meetings, activities on international platforms: “We believe that with the great support of the Azerbaijani state we will come together with Ukrainian youth organizations in Baku.”
