Moscow’s Red Square is hosting a military parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War.
Russian Bureau of Report says, more than 14,000 troops, over 200 armored vehicles, and 75 aircraft and representatives from 13 other countries are taking part in the event.
On foot columns will pass honor guards; historical companies in uniforms of the great Patriotic war; foreign military crews; crews of Suvorov, Nakhimov, and cadet schools; regiments of the Land forces, aerospace forces, Navy, Strategic Missile forces, Airborne troops; a troop of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia; a company of engineering troops; battalions of radiation, chemical and biological protection troops and communications troops; a company of railway troops; forces of the EMERCOM of Russia and Rosgvardiya; parade crews of the Western military district, as well as the combined military band.
The defense departments of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, India, Kazakhstan, China, Moldova, Mongolia, Serbia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan sent their delegations to the parade.
The Azerbaijani delegation is headed by the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov.
