Azerbaijani, Russian FMs mull implementation of agreements on Karabakh

On June 23, Azerbaijani and Russian Foreign Ministers Jeyhun Bayramov and Sergey Lavrov during a telephone conversation, discussed topical issues of bilateral relations, regional and international agenda, Report informs referring to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The ministers noted with satisfaction that, despite the negative impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic, multifaceted Russian-Azerbaijani relations are successfully developing, trade and economic cooperation is growing.

The ministers also touched upon implementing the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia of November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, in particular, concerning the solution of humanitarian problems in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“The important contribution of the Trilateral Working Group under the joint chairmanship of the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia to the post-conflict development of the region was emphasized,” the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
