Prime Minister Ali Asadov drew the attention of the members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Council of Heads of Government to the post-conflict situation in the region, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
Stating that the conflict is a thing of the past, he reiterated Azerbaijan's commitment to peace, stability, and predictability: "Our policy is entirely open and clear. We are open to constructive dialogue and joint work to turn the South Caucasus into a region of peace, cooperation, and interaction."
Noting that Armenia has accepted the five main principles put forward by Azerbaijan in connection with the peace agreement, the PM said: "These five principles are the basic principles of international law, in accordance with the UN Charter and the Helsinki Final Act."
