A telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis, Report informs, citing Azerbaijani MFA.
During the telephone conversation, the issues of cooperation between the two countries, the geopolitical situation in Europe and the efforts made by Switzerland, as well as the work done within the framework of Azerbaijan's presidency of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) were discussed.
At the same time, opinions were also exchanged on regional issues of mutual interest.
