Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry responds to Yerevan

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has responded to the baseless claims set forward by the Armenian Foreign Ministry to Azerbaijan regarding the gas supply to Karabakh, Report informs.

The spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Leyla Abdullayeva, said that a few days ago Armenian Foreign Ministry tried to interfere with Azerbaijan's internal affairs regarding the participation of international organizations in an event held in Azerbaijan and now they try to interfere in another issue.

"Armenia's persistent unconstructive approach by making baseless allegations reveals the country's true intentions. Our recommendation to Armenia is to ensure the fulfillment of its obligations, including the withdrawal of the remnants of its armed forces in the region, rather than making baseless and illegal allegations, and to contribute to regional peace and security," she said.
