Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reacts to Lavrov's statement

“We would like to note that the activities of the delimitation commissions established by Azerbaijan and Armenia are aimed at the delimitation of the state border of the two countries, as previously planned,” Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Leyla Abdullayeva said at a press conference, Report informs.

Abdullayeva made the remarks commenting on Lavrov’s statements regarding the situation with the village of Farrukh in the Khojaly district, which according to him, would be considered in the context of the delimitation of the borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

“This process does not envisage consideration of any issue outside the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, including the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is stationed,” the Foreign Ministry spokesperson stressed.
