Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Finnish Foreign and European Affairs Minister Elina Valtonen met as part of a working visit to New York to attend the opening of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, Report informs citing the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his interlocutor about the 30-year Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani territories, about the consistent steps taken by Azerbaijan in the post-conflict period to normalize bilateral relations with Armenia, reconstruction and construction work in the liberated territories.
At the same time, the Minister informed his Finnish counterpart about the latest situation in the region and the local anti-terrorist activities carried out by Azerbaijan, drew attention to the factors determining this operation.
