Azerbaijani FM discusses regional issues with his Kazakhstani counterpart

A telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu, Report informs, referring to Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.

During the telephone conversation, they discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral strategic cooperation between the two countries, as well as regional relations.

The parties also discussed the prospects of cooperation within the framework of international organizations and multilateral platforms.

In the framework of the discussion, the priority directions of Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) for 2024-2026 were touched upon.

Both sides expressed satisfaction that relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are based on strategic partnership, friendship, and multifaceted cooperation.

Furthermore, other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the phone conversation.
