Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has taken part in the ministerial meeting of the Contact Group of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for Jammu and Kashmir within the 77th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), Report informs, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Bayramov said at the event that Azerbaijan supports the peaceful settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir issue in accordance with the norms and principles of international law and relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council. According to him, the peaceful resolution of all issues related to Jammu and Kashmir is important for ensuring peace and security in South Asia.
