Azerbaijani First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov participated in the 103rd meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Economic Council in Moscow on Friday, Report informs.
At the meeting, the members of the Council made a decision on the future organization of the exchange of open-use spatial data for the filling of the geological portal of the organization.
The meeting also discussed the draft agreement on cooperation in the development of civil shipbuilding and production of ship equipment among the CIS member states, as well as the draft memorandum on cooperation on the digital transformation of the transport complex of the CIS member states. This project is aimed at expanding and deepening interstate cooperation in the field of digital transformation of the transport complex of the CIS.
The next meeting of the CIS Economic Council is scheduled for November 29.
