“Weapons and military equipment illegally transported through the Lachin road were used to build military bases by Armenian separatists in Garabagh,” Permanent Delegate of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, Elman Abdullayev, wrote on X, Report informs.
“So, establishment of the Lachin checkpoint was indeed crucial for the national security of Azerbaijan,” he added.
