Azerbaijani diaspora in Netherlands requests meeting in parliament due to Amsterdam's position

Representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the Netherlands are outraged by the position of the country's government, which called the liberation of Karabakh a "capture," and are demanding a meeting with members of parliament.

Report informs, citing the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Work with the Diaspora, that the Azerbaijani community in the Netherlands expressed outrage with such a definition in the "International Security" section of the new government's program, issuing a statement about the bias of Amsterdam's official position and calling for objectivity and respect for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.

"Such actions do not contribute to establishing peace, but only inflame the conflict," says the statement of the Azerbaijani community, which declared its intention to continue protests.

The Ana Vatan Women's Union sent an appeal to the Dutch parliament requesting a meeting and prepared a petition. The official website of the parliament reports that the appeal has been registered and such a meeting will take place, but the timing is not specified.
