Azerbaijani deputy FM: Armenia's non-fulfilment of obligations poses threat to peace in region

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov gave detailed information to Jaroslav Kurfürst, Director General for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, about the new realities emerged in the region during the post-conflict period, the restoration and construction work carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing MFA.

He informed the other party about the initiatives of Azerbaijan in the direction of normalization of relations with Armenia, advancement of the peace agenda, delimitation of the state border, and opening of communications and pointed out that the provocations committed by Armenia, especially the non-fulfillment of obligations arising from the tripartite declaration, pose a threat to ensuring peace and tranquility in the region.
