Azerbaijani ambassador attends inauguration of Dominican President

Ruslan Rzayev, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Cuba and the Dominican Republic, attended the inauguration of Luis Abinader, who was re-elected as President of the Dominican Republic, Elvis Antonio Alam Lora, Dominica’s ambassador to Azerbaijan and Türkiye, told Report.

According to the Dominican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, leaders from various countries gathered in Santo Domingo for the inauguration of President Luis Abinader, the ambassador stated.

“On the 161st anniversary of Dominica’s Independence Day, Ruslan Rzayev, the non-resident ambassador of Azerbaijan, was among the leaders and high-ranking officials from 87 countries and 21 international organizations. We were honored by his participation as a representative of the Azerbaijani government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” stated the information.

The historic presence of heads of state, government officials, and representatives from friendly nations highlights President Abinader’s international leadership and the country’s institutional strengthening over the past four years.
