Azerbaijan, Vietnam aim to deepen mutual co-op

The determination to deepen traditional friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam was confirmed during a meeting in Kazan on the sidelines of the BRICS summit between Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev and Vietnam's Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, reads an article by the Vietnamese government's online newspaper, Report informs.

"President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh confirmed their determination to deepen traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries by strengthening the role of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on economic, trade, scientific and technological cooperation, as well as expanding cooperation in oil and gas, agriculture, tourism and interregional interaction," reads the article.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the Outreach/BRICS+ format summit of the XVI BRICS Summit in Kazan (Russia) on October 23-24.
