The Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Ukraine held the next round of political dialogue on June 17 in a video conference format.
Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and his Ukrainian counterpart Vasily Bodnar led the consultations.
Bodnar thanked his counterpart for the humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine to eliminate the pandemic's consequences, the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan told Report.
The parties agreed to further coordinate efforts to combat COVID-19.
The conference focused on promising areas of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation in political, trade, economic, energy, transport, cultural, humanitarian, and military-technical spheres.
Moreover, the sides exchanged views on future steps of bilateral partnership within international and regional organizations, in particular the Council of Europe, the UN, the OSCE, the BSEC, and GUAM.
They Deputy FMs also discussed a wide range of issues related to the support of the territorial integrity of both countries and various aspects of policy on the occupied territories.
