Azerbaijan to send 500 troops and helicopters to Turkey

On July 30, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov and Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay had a telephone conversation, Report informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

During the telephone conversation, iin connection with the ongoing forest fires in Turkey, it was stated that, as always, Azerbaijan stands by the brotherly country in this difficult time.

"Azerbaijan is ready to provide all possible assistance to Turkey in the fight against forest fires and mobilize all necessary forces for this purpose.

The Prime Minister said under the relevant instructions and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 500 personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, helicopters, and other necessary equipment and supplies will be sent to brotherly Turkey as soon as possible.
