Azerbaijan sharply criticizes biased move by European Parliament

At a meeting in Brussels, French deputy Nathalie Loiseau was elected as the first vice-chair of the European Parliament's delegation for relations with the South Caucasus. This election was negatively received in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani MP Gaya Mammadov told Report.

He noted that the notorious Azerbaijanophobe Loiseau has defined her life mission not only to harm Azerbaijan but also to undermine the country's relations with the EU.

Mammadov noted that the election of such a person with extremist and racist views as Loiseau to this position is a completely erroneous and provocative step.

The deputy called on the European Parliament to take urgent measures to rectify the situation.
