Azerbaijan's foreign minister informs his Saudi counterpart about normalization of relations with Armenia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, during a meeting with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, informed him about the process of normalizing relations between Baku and Yerevan, Report informs, citing the ministry's post on the social network X.

The parties discussed the importance of high-level mutual visits for expanding and deepening cooperation and existing opportunities in the areas of economy, trade, investment, humanitarian aid, and tourism.

The focus was also on the issue of the COP29 conference, which will be held in November in Baku.

The parties also signed a memorandum of understanding on exemption from the need for short-term visas for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.
