The Embassy of Azerbaijan in France has extended its support and solidarity to the Catholic community in the wake of a severe fire that engulfed the Immaculate Conception Church in Saint-Omer. The diplomatic mission conveyed its message via its official account on the social media platform X, according to Report.
"The Embassy of Azerbaijan expresses solidarity with the Catholic community of Saint-Omer in connection with the fire at the Immaculate Conception Church. As a multi-faith and multi-ethnic nation, Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the preservation of religious heritage," the statement reads.
