Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan ink MoU in legal sphere

During his visit to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijani Justice Minister Farid Ahmadov held a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Azamat Yeskarayev, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed issues of mutual interest, emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation between the two countries in various areas, as well as studying modern trends and experience in the field of justice, the ministry noted. Following the meeting, a "Memorandum of Cooperation in the Legal Sphere between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was signed.

According to the document, the parties plan to cooperate in bringing local legislation in line with international standards, applying modern information technologies in the field of justice, improving legal services and increasing their accessibility, training personnel, exchanging experience in the field of enforcement proceedings and forensic examination, as well as organizing expert meetings and visits.
