As COVID-19 becomes dangerous in most countries, the government of Azerbaijan organizes evacuation of its citizens in response of coronavirus fears. Earlier, Azerbaijani students were evacuated from China's virus hit city Wuhan by Turkish military cargo plane. At present, Azerbaijan Airlines organizes charter flights to return Azerbaijanis to homeland.
Today, Azerbaijan has evacuated 49 citizens from Europe and Turkey through Georgia, Report informs citing the Georgian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
At present, Azerbaijani citizens are moving to the“Sinig Korpu” customs post. Upon their transfer to Azerbaijan, the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) will take them under control.
Earlier, Azerbaijan evacuated 170 citizens through Georgia.
