Azerbaijan, Czech Republic may establish green energy co-op

Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic have discussed the possibility of cooperation in the fields of green and renewable energy, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The discussions took place within a meeting between the foreign ministers of the two countries, Jeyhun Bayramov and Jan Lipavsky.

The parties noted that Baku and Prague are already cooperating in the field of traditional energy. In this vein, the ministers also considered the possibility of developing cooperation in the areas of green and renewable energy.

The foreign ministers further exchanged views on the participation of Czech investors in large-scale restoration and construction projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

An exchange of views took place regarding the possibilities of Czech transit and logistics companies using the potential of the Middle Corridor passing through the territory of Azerbaijan and the Alyat Free Economic Zone, the Foreign Ministry added.
