Attack on Azerbaijani embassy to be raised again in UK House of Commons

The UK is saddened by the news of the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in London and this issue will be raised again in the House of Commons, Chairman of the House of Commons of the British Parliament Sir Lindsay Harvey Hoyle said at a meeting with Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, Report informs.

He said he would inquire regarding ensuring security of the building and embassy staff.

During the meeting, Gafarova expressed concern over the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in London and stressed that the main purpose of this attack is an attempt to undermine high-level relations between the two countries: “This provocation must be thoroughly investigated. It is important to ensure the security of our embassies, our diplomats on the basis of the principle of reciprocity.”
