Attack on Azerbaijani embassy by Armenian radicals 'not the first such case,' Leyla Abdullayeva says

The attack on the Azerbaijani embassy by radical representatives of the Armenian community in France is not the first such case, the head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Leyla Abdullayeva said, according to Report.

"We have faced this before and in recent days we have also observed similar actions," she said, adding that, in this regard, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has already issued a statement, noting its strong concern about what happened, and sent the necessary message to countries in which similar incidents occur.

"According to international law, namely the Vienna Convention, the country in which the diplomat and the diplomatic mission itself is located has a special obligation to ensure their safety. We called on these countries to take the necessary measures for the proper implementation of the Convention," Abdullayeva added.
