Assistant to President of Azerbaijan: Venice Commission fulfilled political order

Report informs,Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan on Public policy Ali Hasanov said in an interview with TASS, commenting on the critical remarks of the Venice Commission regarding the changes and amendments to Constitution of Azerbaijan.

"Unfortunately, all the procedural rules of the Commission on referendum in Azerbaijan were grossly violated.

The Commission, which traditionally considered the issue within three months, this time in a hasty manner, ignoring the right of the Azerbaijani side to be heard, in clandestine form within two weeks prepared and released its opinion that replete with factualinaccuracies and blunders.

Based on the practice of cooperation with the Venice Commission, as well as taking into account the nature of its activities, it can be said with certainty that this structure, neglecting its authority forced to perform a political order, "- Hasanov said.
