Armenian parliament speaker calls border delimitation regulations monumental victory for Baku and Yerevan

The existence of regulations for the commissions on border delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia is the monumental victory for both countries, according to Alen Simonyan, the Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia.

According to Report, which cites Armenian media, in a statement to journalists Simonyan emphasized, "This is a bilateral victory, it is the first interstate document between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and its implementation is one of the most important cornerstones of the independence and territorial integrity of the two countries."

The speaker expressed great hope for positive developments in this matter. However, he added that as of today, there is no decision on where the demarcation should continue from.

"At the moment, discussions are underway about where the delimitation will continue from," Simonyan stated.

The Chairman of the National Assembly also stressed that with political will, all issues can find their resolution.
