Armenia's provocations on border with Azerbaijan to be discussed at PACE autumn session

The autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) begins today in Strasbourg, Report informs, citing the PACE press service.

During the session of the Assembly, debates will be held regarding the recent provocations of Armenia on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, food security in Europe, and the consequences of the Russian war against Ukraine for Europe.

The Assembly is also expected to discuss the fulfillment by Turkiye, Hungary and Romania of their obligations to PACE.

During the session on October 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will address the deputies of the Assembly via videoconference.

There will also be speeches by the President of Ireland Michael Higgins, President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis, Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama.

The session will end on October 14.

Earlier, head of the delegation of the Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan) to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, chairman of the parliamentary committee Samad Seyidov and members of the delegation - deputies Erkin Gadirli, Rafael Huseynov, Nigar Arpadarai, Kamal Jafarov, Parvin Karimzade, Fazil Mustafa, Asim Mollazade and Sevinj Fataliyeva went to Strasbourg to participate in autumn session of the organization.
