Armenia presented updated version of draft peace treaty to Azerbaijan, Minister Bayramov says

Armenia presented an updated version of the draft peace treaty, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told a joint briefing with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto, Report informs.

The minister informed his counterpart about the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process: “I gave information about the progress of the negotiation process, negotiations around the peace process, Alma-Ata negotiations. Earlier, Azerbaijan presented the latest proposals regarding the draft peace treaty to Armenia. Talks were held on this issue in Almaty. A few days ago, we received the updated 9th edition of the draft peace treaty from Armenia. There is a decrease in the number of open issues on the draft peace agreement. A positive development is observed on a number of points.”

The minister emphasized that Azerbaijan is committed to the peace process: “We are ready to take further necessary steps.”
