APA Executive Council meeting being held in Baku

The Executive Council meeting is being held in Baku within the framework of the 14th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).

Dedicated to the subject of reinforcing regional cooperation for sustainable development in Asia, the session is being attended by parliamentary delegations from nearly 40 countries, including the Presidents of Parliament of approximately 10 national legislatures.

The event will include meetings of the APA Executive Council, the plenary session, and meetings of the APA committees on political, economic, budgetary, social, and cultural affairs. The agendas will be discussed duly; besides, it is planned to review a number of organizational issues.

The Baku Declaration and the summary report of the APA will be adopted at the conclusion of the session.

The plenary session will end on February 24.
