Another round of political consultations held between Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan

Another round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s MFA.

The delegation of Azerbaijan was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Samir Sharifov, while the delegation of Uzbekistan was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bobur Usmanov.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation in political, economic, transport, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres. An exchange of views on cooperation within international and regional organizations also took place.

It was emphasized that Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29 is an indicator of the country's growing influence globally.

Within the framework of political consultations, views were exchanged between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan on the contractual legal framework and the projects under consideration. In addition, an inventory of the documents signed between the two countries was conducted.
