Ambassadors of CIS countries convene in Baku to discuss key issues

On October 7, the heads of diplomatic missions of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries, accredited in Azerbaijan, gathered at the Russian Embassy in Baku for a crucial meeting.

Report informs citing the press service of the Russian embassy in Baku that the meeting was attended by Mikhail Yevdokimov, Ambassador of Russia, Andrei Ravkov, Ambassador of Belarus; Alim Bayel, Ambassador of Kazakhstan; Maksat Mamytkanov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan; Ilhom Abdurakhmon, Ambassador of Tajikistan; Gurbanmammet Elyasov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan; and Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan.

"The meeting focused on prospects for developing multifaceted cooperation within the CIS format, as well as topics of mutual interest," the diplomatic mission emphasized.
