The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) is also very significant for Rwanda, as it discusses one of the most pressing global issues – the matter of human settlements, said Charles Kayonga, Rwanda's non-resident Ambassador to Azerbaijan, in his statement to Report.
The ambassador noted that Rwanda will be represented at WUF13 to be held in Baku on May 17-22 by a delegation led by the country's minister of infrastructure.
According to Kayonga, this forum presents great opportunities for participating countries, including Rwanda, to establish mutual, diplomatic, and strategic cooperation ties at the international level:
"Rwanda's capital Kigali is considered the cleanest city in Africa. Since our city is known for its tidy streets, green areas, and strict environmental policy, our specialists are also gladly ready to share their experience at this forum," the ambassador added.
