Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has sent a letter of condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev over the deaths and injuries caused by the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, Report informs via the Algerian Press Service.
“I received the news of the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, and the resulting deaths and injuries with deep sadness and grief,” Tebboune stated.
“On behalf of the people and government of Algeria, and on my own behalf, I express my sincere condolences to Your Excellency and the families of the deceased. I express my deep sorrow and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” he added.
Tebboune conveyed Algeria's solidarity with Azerbaijan during this difficult time and expressed his confidence that the Azerbaijani people will overcome this painful ordeal.
