There are Islamophobic elements in the actions committed by Armenia during the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations, said at a press conference of the event themed “Islamophobia: Exposing Prejudice and Destroying Stigma,” Report informs.
Shafiyev noted that Armenia is also taking steps to present Azerbaijani heritage as belonging to another country:
“An example of this is the denial that the mosque in Yerevan is a part of Azerbaijani heritage.”
