Advanced Regional Energy Security Symposium opens at ADA University

Advanced Regional Energy Security Symposium 2021 – Caucasus has opened at ADA University in Baku with the participation of international experts, Report informs.

During the symposium, the participants will discuss the main issues of energy security in the South Caucasus, energy security during the Second Karabakh war, as well as cybersecurity issues.

The opening of the symposium was made by Fariz Ismailzade, Executive Vice-Rector of ADA University, Vitaliy Baylarbayov, Deputy Vice-President of SOCAR for Investments and Marketing, Elnur Soltanov, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Alan Howard, Deputy Director of the Energy Academic Group at Naval Postgraduate School.

During the symposium, presentations are expected by Georgetown University professor, renowned energy specialist Brenda Shaffer, Naval Postgraduate School representative Daniel Temple and other experts.
